- To get member discount you must use the email address associated with your regular AMEU account.
- If you use a new email address a new account will be opened for you, unless you ask the secretariat to update your old account details.

- You and the billing contact of your organisation will receive invoices a few minutes after you have registered.
- If you see a red notice on the screen about unpaid invoices please contact the secretariat on ameuservices@vdw.co.za to resolve.
- Should you wish to cancel your registration altogether, please do so in writing to mpho@vdw.co.za by no later than 11 Oct 2024. Any cancellations not made or if the delegate is a NO-SHOW at the convention the FULL registration fee will be payable.

Please note that for delegates with accommodation booked outside the Park, the official (summer) gate times of 05:30 – 18:00 might interfere with ease of attending evening events at the conference.

SANParks Pretoriuskop Rest Camp

This camp is within the borders of the Park and is the closest to the venue, roughly an hour’s drive from Skukuza - this is due to the speed limit in the park being 50 km/h on tar roads and 40 km/h on gravel roads.
Please note that driving within Kruger National Park is not permitted outside the designated daytime operating hours. However, we can arrange for field guards to escort members in a convoy to and from Skukuza after hours.

We warmly invite all municipal electricity utility and affiliate members of the AMEU to participate in the forthcoming 2024 AMEU Awards competition. All nominees will be featured at our 2024 AMEU Annual Convention's gala dinner in October 2024 which includes a brief video presentation. This will be followed by an awards ceremony, including a photo and stage moment for the winners. Every nominee will be recognised, and winners will receive a trophy as prizes.
There are three award categories:

- Top Performing AMEU WIE
