The AMEU held its first convention back in 1915. Each year until 2019, the organisation published a proceedings book including essential reports on the organisation, membership lists, and the papers that were presented at the respective events. This online library contains digital copies of the proceedings books that are searchable, providing valuable insights not only into the life of the AMEU, but also that of local government, and the evolution of electricity distribution and generation in Southern Africa. From 2020 onwards we make available the papers presented as separate documents and not as a proceedings volume. Please enjoy the documents. A few editions are not yet scanned and will be included in due course.
